History of the hotel

Hotel "Ukraina", located in the sanatorium-forest zone of Cherkasy city, it existes since 1966. It has always been a famous gem of recreation in the city. The history of hospitality of the hotel in its modern version began in 1999, when the hotel "Ukraina" had a second wind and resumed its work after a long break. Originally it was a small hotel with 27 rooms. Gradually, the total number of rooms  increased to 91 rooms. In 2017, the hotel was renovated, the hall and restaurant were redesigned.

Our guests are travelers from all over Ukraine and the world: individual guests, couples, groups of friends, families with children. For many, the hotel has become a second home away from home, where they are warmly welcomed and honored like friends.

Hotel rooms

The hotel has 91 rooms of different categories.

Each room has everything you need to feel at home and relax. Each room has a set of towels, slippers, hairdryer, TV, telephone and air conditioning. Breakfast is included in the room rate. As we are surrounded by pine trees, each room has a beautiful view to the forest or the courtyard.

1. Apartments and Apartments + - spacious two-room rooms of premium class, with a separate entrance, kitchen area in the living room and bedroom will appeal to those who like to give themselves only the best and enjoy individual preferences. Rooms are located on the ground floor and do not have balconies. Each room has a double bed, sofa bed, towels, bathrobe, slippers, hair dryer, TV, telephone, safe and air conditioning.

2. Suite - among the rooms of this category you can choose between single-storey two-room and one-room rooms with a balcony in a classic style and suite rooms without a balcony in a high-tech style. All rooms have lots of light and space, a separate seating area and a work desk. It is also possible to choose a room with a double or twin beds. Each room has a set of towels, bathrobe, slippers, hair dryer, TV, telephone, safe and air conditioning.

3. Junior suite - there are 3 kinds of rooms of this category on different floors and in different buildings with and without balconies. Junior suites in the "B" building are larger (two-room), compared to other junior suites, but have not been renovated, do not have safes and individual balconies. Their clear advantage is space. Each room has a double bed and a sofa bed, a bathroom with a bathtub, a set of towels, slippers, a hairdryer, a TV, a telephone and air conditioning.

The Junior suites deluxe are located in the main building "A". Rooms on the ground floor without balconies, on the second floor rooms have their own balconies overlooking the forest. Each room has 2 single beds, bathroom with shower, towels, slippers, hairdryer, TV, telephone, safe and air conditioning.

The Junior suites deluxe 2 leveled are located on the 3rd floor and have no balconies. Each room has a double bed and a single bed, the bathroom has a shower, towels, slippers, hairdryer, TV, telephone, safe and air conditioning. Good choice for family of three people.

4. Standard - this category has 3 kinds of rooms. The cheepest room of the standard category is located in the neighboring building "C" and "B" of the hotel "Ukraina", Cherkasy city. Compared to other standard rooms, this room is larger in area, but there is no updated renovation and safe. Each room has a double bed and a folding chair, a bathroom with a bathtub, a set of towels, slippers, a hairdryer, a TV set, a telephone and air conditioning.

Standard Classic Room is located in the main building "A". All rooms have balconies. Compact size and pleasant light design help our guests to feel comfortable and relaxed here, there is everything you need for relaxation. Each room has a double bed, bathroom with bathtub, towels, slippers, hairdryer, TV, telephone, safe and air conditioning.

The Standard deluxe room is located in the main building "A". These rooms are the smallest, but the newest in terms of renovation. All rooms, except the ground floor rooms, have balconies. Each room has a double bed, bathroom with shower, towels, slippers, hairdryer, TV, telephone, safe and air conditioning.

Terms of accommodation

Most rooms are for double accommodation. There is an additional charge for accommodation of third person in the room. Children under the age of five are accommodated free of charge in a room with their parents without providing an extra bed. There is a charge for the kid under 5 years old in the room when providing a separate bed. A baby cot is provided free of charge.

All rooms are subject to a single tax. The hotel is not subject to VAT.

If you need to arrange a transfer from the station to the hotel and back or to different parts of the city - we will be happy to take care of this. The cost of the transfer will depend on the number of people and the distance.
Guests engaged in sports or fitness have the opportunity to keep fit in a specially equipped fitness room. It is freeof charge for teh guests!
At your service is a Finnish sauna - UAH 570.00. for 2 hours.
Our laundry works from 08:00 until 17:00 every day.
Our on-site partners can arrange quad biking in the charming pine forest.
We offer conference services for business people. Our conference halls are equipped with everything necessary for seminars, conferences and other thematic meetings. We organize coffee breaks, lunches or dinners for participants.
The restaurant serves Ukrainian and European cuisine. We will help you organize a feast on the occasion of a birthday, anniversary or other festive event of your life. You can also order a buffet or catering.
